Reversed, the King of Swords becomes manipulative, tyrannical, or uses his considerable intellect for selfish ends. The judgment has been corrupted by personal bias or power. Or the sharpness has turned inward as brutal self-criticism.

Rigid rules have replaced real understanding, principle enforced past the point where it still serves the relationship. Or a decision that needs to be made is being avoided by hiding behind procedure instead of judgment.
Reversed at work
Authority has tipped into rigidity, rules applied without regard for the situation they were meant to serve in the first place.

Discipline has hardened into inflexibility, a plan followed even past the point where it stopped fitting the situation. Or judgment about your own body is being overridden by someone else's authority instead of trusted.
