How they feel about you
They are making the running — the gestures, the romance, the pursuit.
Reversed
They are in love with the idea rather than with you.
What lives between you
There is romance here, and someone is making the running.
Reversed
The romance is doing the work that substance should be doing.
How you feel, privately
You feel drawn to someone or something, and it is pleasant.
Reversed
You feel let down by a gesture that never came.
